Slow to add or delete sheet

Hello All

I have a 13mb excel file with about 30 sheets on it. Calculation and
Screenrefreshing are turn off. It takes about 3 minutes to delete or add a
sheet.
Inserting/deleting a row also has the same effect.

Can anybody help or point me in the right direction to try and speed this
activiity up.

If you are using Excel 2007 see the posting below. You should post your code
so we can check if there is anything odd about your code. Adding and delting
object in a spreadsheet is always slow and large files will make it slower.
It shouldn't take 3 minutes to complete unless your PC doesn't have a lot of
memory. Try a different PC.
