Is this a bug or a feature? This just started happening in 2007, wasn't a
problem in 2002/XP. I have two forms open in design, when
switching/clicking from one to another it takes about a minute to select the
form. Both are simple forms not even linked to a table.

Are they on a network, I do find opening design forms very slow on a
network. To be honest with you I shouldn't do it that way anyway, kind of
dangerous and easy to loose you work, especially if someone gets in there
with you.

You are not alone. Compared to the previous versions of access...the 2007
version is worst. it was REALLY slow. It takes 10-20 seconds to open up a
report. Plus switching from a report header to the next is slow. Practically
everything is slow. So far I have not found a solution. I hope microsoft
resolves this. I'm guessing this is a memory management issue coz I got a
core duo with 2GB of ram with windows XP prof. I got access 2000, 2002 and
2003 on this machine too and its working perfectly.
