Slow startup when undocked

With mye laptop docked I log on to a domain and Vista starts up normally
(about 20 secs). When I start up undocked (no network connection) the startup
is slow with about 30-35 secs pause (no disk activity) before the
"Ctl+Alt+Del" screen. When I log on to my user there is another 25-30s pause
before the desktop comes up. I have tried to disable the Netlogon service
when undocked (The tab "Log on", Hardware Profile, Undocked Profile,
Disabled), but this did not help.
 
Must be searching for the Active Directory database.
