I have HP Pavilion 6528 with Intel C2D T7100 and 1GB RAM, with Vista Premium.
After user loging the system takes almost 3 minutes to start. The screen even
turns black during process. Is that normal? I have no extra software yet.

Thank you,
Roger

The only time I've had that so far is after installing Vista but
before installing my chipset and VGA drivers.

Hi Roger,

The black screen could be an indication that the video software is
reinitializing the screen. I would look first at what software is loading
into your user profile at startup and disable it where possible.

I think I've found it. I noticed that the problem only existed when I logged
as administrator. So what I did was disabled UAC control. Since then start up
works fine.
