Slow performance

I recently upgraded (W2K -> XP, FP2000 -> FP2003) and shifted my local web
to a different folder and am now having trouble with VERY slow performance.
eg a simple page save can take several minutes.
I have no table of contents and I have recalculated hyperlinks.
I notice that in the mini-filers (eg for adding a hyperlink), numbers of
files appear with their full path C:mydisk\ ,\ .
instead of the much shorter relative name.
I also notice that many graphics files do not appear in the mini filer yet
they are visible on the main folders listing. They may have been imported
incorrectly under FP2000 but thit didn't seem to worry it.
The site is very large with lots of nested include pages - I would prefer
not to have to rebuild from scratch.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

How did you "shift" your web to a different folder?? The safest way is to
Publish it.
Also, FrontPage looks in MY Documents My Webs by default unless you change
the default location.
It sounds a lot like you don't have your web open when editing.
