slow opening web pages

I've just purchased a new laptop from Dell with Vista premium, and whilst it
is fast searching google for results, the pages take forever to load (except
well known sites such as bbc.co.uk.) I have the same problem with Internet
explorer or firefox. can anyone please help

Try turning off IPv6. Here's a link to an MS Cable Guy article that
