Hello Guys
I just notiiced that my PC lately is slowing down when opening
multiple excel files..
it does not happen with other office applications but only with
EXCEL .
..When I click open one or more EXcel files it takes some minutes
before the files are opened...I could not think of any issues that
might cause this problem...
My PC is WinXP Sp2 with continuously updated internet security
protection.
I would like to know if you want to open many Excel files normally
what should be the duration for the file to appear.? Maximum and
minimum time duration? Supposing each file is at most not more than
100 kb.
mypC is a desktop replacement system with pentium M280 2,26ghz
centrino chip and having 2gig of ram and 256 of video memory and 100
gig hardrive.
My hard drive is still 40 gigs empty...
Could anybody give me some ideas...?
TIA

Since the problem only occurs with Excel, post in the Excel newsgroup
where you'll get attention from Excel experts (and no, I don't know your
answer - sorry).

Here is a list of all the MS newsgroups so you can find the Excel group:
