Hi Group.
This problem may sound very strange, but after installing WinXP sp2 a
collegue and I are haveing network problems every afternoon.

Around 4 pm everyday our laptops cannot connect to the local LAN anymore.
The network works fine and we can surf the internet, but all LAN traffic
results in a messagebox saying i.e. "T:\<Share> is not accessible.
Insufficient system resources exist to complet the requested service."

After a reboot everything works fine until 4 pm the next day.

We are the only ones that have installed SP2 for XP and we're the only ones
to have this problem. The problem didn't occur until installing SP2.

Looking in the task manager doesn't give me any clue on the problem, but the
computer acts very slowly when using the internet.

Have any of you experienced this??

Best regards

Hi Eric.
I've just looked at my Event Logs and the only thing that occurs around the
time when my LAN connection (only access to shares etc.) stops is Event ID
4201 "The system detected that network adapter
\DEVICE\TCPIP_{FE4B7D0C-9648-4E51-B868-16A08AB5EE2F} was connected to the
network, and has initiated normal operation over the network adapter."
This event occurs approx. 8 times before the LAN connection stops working.

Hi Eric... again ;o)
I also see a couple of Event ID 3019 "The redirector failed to determine the
connection type."
