Slow loading in another state

I have a database where the backend is on the server here in our building and
the employees access the database through a MDE file. The database works fine
for us here in Michigan but our S.C. plant gets a slow loading time for
everything - intially, forms, reports. Is this due to the server being up
here? If not is there a way to correct this?

Thanks!!

Yes, it is definitely due to trying to load the database across a WAN.
Access was not meant to be used that way. You MIGHT be able to use Terminal
Server. If you can't do that, another option is to implement Replication --
not a simple task.

Albert,
I just love your article. You have such an articulate way of putting things.
I tell the OP that he will need to use Replication or Terminal Server. You
paint pictures... LOL.
