Slow Load

Hi,
When I have a workbook open in Excel 2000 SP-3 and try to open another one,
it takes about a minute for it to open. I have WinXP SP1 and Pentium 4- 3.06
MHz with 512 MB RAM.

Does anybody know how I can fix this,
