I have 6 clients running Windows XP Pro. After the type in their password to
the domain, it seems to hang for about 2-3 minutes. I need this to stop.
I've checked with Microsoft's Knowledge Base and have tried a few things but
none of them worked.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Try setting the DNS entry on the client pcs to point to the domain controller
and see what happens? If the helps you may want to add an entry into your
host file to point to the dc.

This is usually caused by incorrect DNS settings. The server should only
look to itself for DNS with forward/reverse lookup zones set. Workstations
should only look to the server.
