Slow Discussion Board

This discussion board is responding very slowly to my mouse clicks when I try
to open or expand a topic. It's almost too annoying to bother with it. Has
anyone experienced this nuisance?

Along the same lines, I swithched to Office 2007 from XP yesterday and I
notice a dramatic slowness in responsiveness in opening and switching
applications. It's unacceptable in a productive business environment. I
know Microsoft is trying to improve graphics appeal, but it's costing them
big in the performance area.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Sympathy too!

The MS web interface for the newsgroups is flakey, and has been
for some time. They are supposedly aware of it, but it's hard to say
when (or if) the problems might be corrected.

However, the MS web interface is only one of the possible ways to
get to the newsgroups. You can also use Outlook Express or another
news reader (look for msnews.microsoft.com) and there is also
another web inteface (for the Access newsgroup) at
www.accessmonster.com
