hi
can anyone help me. i'm running windows xp with a broadband connection on a
wireless (home) network. my problem is that my computer has slowed down,
both on internet related stuff and generally, to a point where it is
extremely annoying. this has been going on for about a week, after no
observable problems in the past. heres what i've tried to do to fix the
problem:
system restore- no good
changed the settings in the performance menu- no good
cleaned out history and cookies log in internet settings- no good
done a full virus scan using three different types of virus checkers- no good
can anyone tell me what else i might try or how i can measure the
performance speed of my computer (against what it should be capable of).
