I've been having problems with my windows booting up slow. When the startup
icons come up, there is a long pause of a couple of minutes before they
finish booting.
I have rounded the problem down to two sources. NAV 2004 and my SIS900
internal ethernet adapter. If I disable either one, it will boot up fine.
I have the latest SIS driver installed. I've tried re-installing NAV..it'll
work fine for a few days, but eventually it will return to it's old
behavior.
I assume that these two items are fighting for resources when I boot...does
this reasoning sound logical?
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance for any help.
