from that there isnt any problem atall with my computer so I cant figure out
why its takeing so long to for the white bar to load has anyone got any idea

Look in Event Viewer for Error Reports occurring during the boot process
and post copies here.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools,
Event Viewer.
When researching the meaning of the error, information regarding Event
ID, Source
and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308427&Product=winxp

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the
error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two
pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now start your
message
(email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This will paste the
info from the
Event Viewer Error Report complete with links into the message. Make
sure this is
the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.

In Event Viewer there is no facility to print Error Reports. A
workaround is copy and
paste the Error Report into an email, send it to yourself and print off
the copy in your
Inbox or your Sent Items folder.

Hope this helps.

There isn't any way for us to know either since we really don't have
much information about your system. Did you connect to the Internet
without a firewall and antivirus in place? Do you have Service Pack 2?
Did you install all your drivers? Do you have a lot of programs
starting with Windows? Here are a few links to sites that may help you:

Then something you have installed is failing and/or slowing down your
computer. Update all drivers by going to the mftrs.' websites or the
OEM's site if you have that kind of computer (HP, Dell, etc.). Check
for updates on all programs you've installed. Nero has had quite a few
updates to work correctly with SP2 for instance. If you installed InCD,
either uninstall that component or update it.

Other than that, do the clean boot troubleshooting previously suggested.

The same thing happened a few months ago when i done a clean install of xp
on my computer but after a day (I wasn't connected to the internet) my
computer loaded in as normal without any updates . I'll go and check for
updates It does sounds if that might be the problem. I think I was just lucky
the last time
