Sloooow access to internet

Please help. Since yesterday, I've been unable to use MIE
to access the internet. Connection is so slow as to be
utterly useless. However, I AM able to connect if I use
AOL's browser, though theirs has always been slower than
if I launch MIE independantly.

How can I improve Explorer without having to use AOL?

My IE 6.0 was acting "slow" as well Terry, and just this
morning I read on Symantec website that you can run
a "repair" on Internet Explorer. You do it thru the
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Microsoft Internet
Explorer > Click the Add/Remove Button (it WON'T remove it
immediately - it gives you an option that allows you to
REPAIR Internet Explorer! I don't know if mine's any
faster now but doing it actually repaired my Clean
Manager / Maintenance Wizard that was bombing after giving
me error messages after each use.! LOL So you never know
what's effecting what. Good Luck
