Anyone have some suggestions as to where to look for good deals on laptops?
I'm looking for a fairly powerful system that will be used on the road and
occasionally at job sites.

Try Circuit City. They have good deals on Toshibas a lot of the time and I
like the 3.2g I got from them. No problems at all and it does anything I
need to do.

I just purchased an Averatec 3200 via newegg. Looked like the best
deal, not rec'd yet for further comment.
Newegg.com has been my best bet for years.

Thanks. I like Newegg but they now charge sales tax to ship to my state so I
try not to use them for larger purchases.
 
get used to it, there's bill being pushed through as we speak that will
make this the norm.
