Slideshow skips slides that are not hidden

Powerpoint 2007 consistently does this to one user. She will create a
presentation and then several slides will just stop advancing. There are no
audio, video, or hyperlinks -- these are very plain text slides. Recreating
the slides will temporarily solve the problem, but we've had to recreate them
more than twice before. All the slides are visible in the design view. It's
not in kiosk mode nor is it set to custom. Clicking the right arrow, space
bar, enter, or clicking the mouse will not cause the slides to appear. If
you right-click and look at the "GO TO Slide", the check mark will advance
down through the list of slides while the screen is only showing the first
slide.

Tried installing the hotfix, but it failed.

Same thing happened to one of our users. She had to re-apply formatting from
another slide, to make it appear.

Hi

A few thoughts:
Is it only happening with one presentation? If so try this:
HTML "Round-tripping" to repair corruption
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00526.htm
Actually, try this anyway as it may be a problem with the master that all
her presentations are based on.

If it happens in all try the following:
How to set graphics hardware acceleration back
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00129.htm

How to install a TEST printer driver
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00952.htm

Run Diagnostics:
Office button -> PowerPoint options -> Resources -> run Microsoft Office
Diagnostics

Let us know how you get on.

It happens with all of her powerpoints, and the problem will follow the
presentation. Meaning, if I try to run it on my computer, the same slides
are hidden/skipped.

I'll try the pptfaq suggestions on her computer.
