Slide Show Not Showing in Full Screen

Using PPT 2000 - whenever we go into Slide Show View on a particular PC, the
show opens in a secondary window that "overlays" the normal PowerPoint
screen. The right side of the screen shows a "bleed through" of the normal
PPT window - it's as if the Slide Show cannot be shown in full screen.

The exact same presentations show correctly on other PCs.

Anyone know what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
