Slide show improvement

Bob

I downloaded the flasher program and am using it to play my slide program.
The slide program starts to play when the page loads. My problem is that
most the people who have consented to check out the program have computors
that take a while for the presentation to load. It gets a short way into the
program and then stops playing while the program continues to load. Once the
program is completely loaded it does not startup again.

I have noted that the viewer can see the slides again by hitting the refresh
button, which is an unrelated comment to this problem, but is a remedy to
restarting the program.

My First question: Is there a way to have the file load first, with a
temporary on screen message saying "wait for the program to load", then to
begin playing?
Here is the current scripting.

<OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
ID="RanchSlides" WIDTH=480 HEIGHT=360
CODEBASE="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.ca
b#version=6,0,0,0">
<PARAM NAME=MOVIE VALUE="RanchShow.swf">
<PARAM NAME=PLAY VALUE=true>
<PARAM NAME=LOOP VALUE=false>
<PARAM NAME=MENU VALUE=false>
<PARAM NAME=QUALITY VALUE=Autohigh>
<PARAM NAME=SCALE VALUE=showall>
<PARAM NAME=ALIGN VALUE=center>
<EMBED SRC="RanchShow.swf" QUALITY=Autohigh WIDTH=320 HEIGHT=240
scale=showall align=center swLiveConnect=false NAME=RanchSlides LOOP=false
PLAY=true MENU=false TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED></OBJECT><
/font></i></b>
</p>

My second question: Am I reading the script correctly that the program is
"getting the macromedia player" from elsewhere each time it runs? Or is the
player embedded in the program. If it's "outside", is this a possible load
delay? If "embedded", is this not a cause of delay?

Thanks to all the "experts".

Sincerely,

Bob (FM)

As an aside, I can still get some "blood's", but in all truth the're not the
best, soft and not looking to good. If Chris, Crash and Steve are interested
let me know. One of the packing-houses that packs our Navels and Vals has
some. If you've never had any, its an experience! I can comp you a box of
72's.
