I cleaned up the hard drive and defraged. No help. Any
other ideas?

The BIGGEST thing is cleaning up your hard drive by
eliminating temp files
and then defragging. It can make a world of difference.

Windows version?

PPT version?

Machine specs. (CPU, RAM, Etc.)?

CD-ROM drive set up for DMA access?
