Sleep Mode and Carrying Case

I'd like to put my sleeping laptop in a carrying case for a brief amount of
time while I go from meeting to meeting locations. How long do you think it
would take for a sleeping laptop to be damaged (if at all) in a carrying case?

Hi Denise,

That's how I move mine around, I rarely fully shut it off (or any machine I
own for that matter). Done it that way for years with XP (hibernate) and
have been doing it with Vista (Sleep) since I purchased this particular HP
laptop (one that I am using at the moment) in March of this year with no
adverse affects.

Thanks, Rick. Just the reassurance I needed.
