Sizing Forms

I have read and reread posts and haven't been able to find one that works.

I have a form [F_BldgTypeParameter] that contains a combo box for the user
to pick parameter. Once the user picks the parameter, they click on a
command button which executes a macro that is supposed to open the query,
maximize the query, and close the form [F_BldgTypeParameter]. I have several
problems. The form doesn't always open in the middle of the screen.
Sometimes it opens as a maximized form. IF the form does open in the center
of the screen, they query opens and isn't maximized. Finally, they form
isn't closing once the query opens.

I have tried everything I can think of and everything I have read in posts.

Can anyone help??

You might try posting this in the .macros group.
Many (I'd risk most) of us here are more conversant with VBA.
