Sizing a form

I've created a new form (A4 size) but can't see the entire page in form view
for some reason. When i go to print preview it shows the whole form and i can
print ok.

I've extended the page as much as possible and tried 'size to fit form' but
nothing works. The zoom button is also not highlighted. I'm sure there's an
easy solution but i can't think of it. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Craig

It is better to use a report for printing. There are much better sizing
options, as well as sorting and grouping capabilities.

Hi Bruce,

The printing side of things is ok but i can't actually see the whole form to
be able to enter data. Only the top two thirds of the page can be seen so i
can't enter information into the last third. When i look at the form in print
preview though i see the entire form.

Other that redesigning the form you can add scroll bars or use a tab
control. If the screen is horizontal and the printout is portrait it is not
surprising that you can't see all of the form, but it prints on one page.

I guess those options would be redesigning the form. I meant you could do
either of those as an alternative to arranging the controls, but I guess
that wouldn't have helped either since you are printing the form rather than
a report.

Best choice would be to design the form to fit on the screen, and design the
report to be printed. The user interface for entering data most likely is
not the best format for printing.
