Size of text in formula bar

A friend uses Excel on a laptop running Win98SE. Everything appears OK
except that the text in the formula bar is so small as to be
unreadable. The text everywhere else is fine, its just the formula
bar. Does anyone know how to change it please?
 
Tools|Options|General|Standard Font (change the size).

You'll get a prompt to restart excel for it to take effect.
 
Thanks Dave, that worked fine. I found that option myself, but, since it
was for all text, thought it would have no effect on the formula bar alone.
I was wrong.
