Size of PST

Hi, everyone

I am using Outlook 97 with size of pst over 1.7gb. I have already deleted
many email message but there is no change for the pst's size.

Please tell me how to reduce the size of pst because the limitation of pst
is around 2gb.

Rightclick the root of the folder (most likely Outlook Today)-> Properties->
button Advanced...-> button Compact Now...
