Size of embedded graphics

I'm trying to identify the file size of many graphics
(mainly jpegs) embedded in my PPT 97 file so I can target
the large graphics and eliminate those few. Any
suggestions as to how I can easily do this rather than
saving every image individually outside of my presentation?

Have you tried:
1. In Tools/Options/Save make sure you clear "Allow fast
Saves."
2. Have you tried Cutting out the jpg and Edit/Paste
Special/Picture (Enhanced Metafile).
3. Find out which slide has the largest graphics by
running a macro to split each slide into another file.
That way you can see which slide's graphics to decrease by
taking it into Photoshop or trying Step 2 above.
