How do I eliminate having to click a user on the welcome
screen. this PC is completely single-user will never be
multi-user. its a pain to have to click the user name.
how do i disable having to see that screen at all just
let the PC come up all ready to sue without any user
select. don;t want to see the password screen either.

Hi Mike,

Start/run "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes).

Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok and follow
the prompts to set up a default logon.
