Single .wav throughout a .pps

Hi,
I have a .wav that I'd like to play throughout my .pps. All I can get it to
do is play for x seconds on each picture/page, then it starts over! How do I
get a .wav to play for the entire .pps?
Thanks for the help...

Hi,
I have a problem that doesn't seem to be covered.
I insert an audio file and get it to play across multiple slides - no
problem, done it lots of time.
When it gets to a slide that contains a video clip (silent) the problem
starts - the audio ceases! The video actually consists of three clips
edited together into one. The audio plays though the first "clip" but then
stops.

Any suggestions?

Hi Chris

What version are you using? How did you get the sound file & video in? What
settings did you give the audio file? Have you tried putting the 3 video
clips in separately (I've had a go at multi video & a sound file in the
background and didn't have a problem)? Sorry for being question girl but it
all helps us solve the problem...

Hi Lucy,
Sorry should have included the detail.
PPT 97 and 2000.
Audio file is wav Have tried inserted it using Slide Transition and Custom
Animation - same problem with both.
Yes, I have tried the three video clips separately - same effect, when the
first video ends the audio stops too.
It is almost as if ppt thinks that the audio is associated with the video
and ends both when the video ends.

Hi Chris

Sorry for the delay in replying - I'm in Oz so have been sleeping :)

Ahhhh 2000. Hmm it's been a while since I've used 2000 and I've only got
vague memories of a dialogue box with tabs or something. All I can advise is
to try again, this time putting the 3 videos on separate slides and using
slide transition timings to move from one to the next. And absolutoely double
check the instructions on the FAQ - I know I've wasted time shouting ' that
doesn't work' & 'Grrr!' etc only to discover I've missed one essential word
or step...

Sorry not to be more help
