Single Stepping a Macro

Hi. NTA (New To Access) here.

I was single stepping a macro and ran into a problem: I was in Design
View. The macro stopped running, but Access did not generate any
messages. (Darn, I could've het F1).

I clicked the X icon to get out of the macro's Design View and went
back in, but when I clicked on the Single Step button, the macro would
not start running again.

All help is appreciated.
