single space report

Is there a way to single space the records in a report? I am creating a
phone list for our employees and I want a one-page reference sheet. When I
create the report, records seem to be double spaced.

I tried adjusting the spacing in design view, but even when there is no
extra space between lines on the ruler, the records still are not single
spaced.

Thanks,
Harris

Report spacing is determined by the size of the font, the height of
the control, and the height of the section in which the control is
placed (Detail Section?).

For example, if your controls are aligned horizontally on one line, if
the font size is 8, set the control height to 0.166" and the detail
height to 0.166".
Try the report and adjust the height of the detail section so that it
looks appealing.

If you have your controls are aligned vertically, then set each
control height to 0.166 and place them so one just barely misses
touching the one below it. Then adjust the section height to just
barely miss touching the last control in the section.
Try the report and re-adjust as needed.
