How can I change my settings so I only have to single click a desktop item
instead of having to double click?

Thanks much!

Go to Control Panel and double click Folder Options.
On the General page, select "Single click to open an item
(point to select)".
You can also choose whether you want items to be underlined all
the time or only when you point at them.
Click OK.

Good luck

In an open folder - Tools/Folder Options/General Tab - section at the
bottom.

Of course, if you'd entered "single click" in the search field of the
Windows Help and Support tool, that's the first response you'd have gotten.

Ahh, yes. There it is. Thanks a LOT Nepatsfan!
