Single Clicking in XP

Is there a way to change my settings to allow "single clicking" for
highlighted items like there used to be in W98? I've been looking but have
been unsuccessful in finding anything.

In Explorer select Tools, Folder Options. On the general tab you can
modify this under the Click items as follows section. Select
"Single-click to open an item (point to select)" to turn on single clicking.
