Since SP2 can't access certain web sites

Since installing SP2, I can't get to many sites that I use to use all the
time. These are normal sites... american express, scottrade, etrust..
several others.. When I try to access, my browser shows .. connecting to
(at bottom of page) then after a long wait I get the message that it timed
out while trying to access the site. I can access other sites with no
problem. I have used several browsers and all do the same.. IE6.0,
Netscape7.2, mozzila and firefox... I have turned off the firewall, same
results. I have symatec antivirus (not norton works). I run spybot and
keep the spyware cleaned up. I have another computer on the same network and
it can get to these sites with no problem. I have changed ports on the
router with no new results. I run xppro.... I tried all the suggestions
that I could find in this newsgroup and managed to get to one site that I
previously couldn't. I think it was a fluke.
