Simultaneously updating document by multiple users

Does anyone know if it is possible to have multiple staff
updating a word document at the same time.

It is not.

If you have various parts of a document saved as separate files and
incorporate them into your full document using an INSERTTEXT field,
different people can work on separate parts.

I believe Charles meant an IncludeText field.
