Simple Speech Recognition Software

Folks:


I am looking for some SIMPLE speech-recognition software.

I have some educational audio material on a DVD and I would like to create a
text file with the text version of my audio material.
Would deeply appreciate if anyone has used simple speech recognition
software and could point to some source.
Freeware or shareware would be cool.
