It will not do that by default. If you want it to open always at a
"maximized" size without third party software intervention, do the
following:
Open one instance of IE> manually stretch it to the maximum screen size>
close IE. It should now fill the entire screen when opened the next time.
This maximum screen is still at "normal" (you will see three buttons in the
upper right hand corner: minimize, Maximize, and close; as opposed to
minimize, restore, and close)
Works for me. If it doesn't work for you, there is something else that is
wrong.
