Simple question about Maximize IE

This is so simple... I feel stupid. I don't know how to make Internet Explorer open maximized. Sure, I can make it take up the whole screen, but I want to have it maximized. I can push make max, but it doesn't seem to hold memory of doing that. So... how/where/what do I do to make IE open maximized? Thanks.

It will not do that by default. If you want it to open always at a
"maximized" size without third party software intervention, do the
following:

Open one instance of IE> manually stretch it to the maximum screen size>
close IE. It should now fill the entire screen when opened the next time.
This maximum screen is still at "normal" (you will see three buttons in the
upper right hand corner: minimize, Maximize, and close; as opposed to
minimize, restore, and close)

Works for me. If it doesn't work for you, there is something else that is
wrong.

Right click the shortcut that you use to open IE and choose Properties. In
the Run box choose Maximized.

That does ring familiar Frank, and some of my shortcuts (like OE, Outlook,
Windows Explorer) have that run feature, but neither of my Google shortcuts
do. Aha, okay....only my "Launch Internet explorer browser" shortcut has
that. Rarely use it; kinda hidden away somewhere. Thanx for the reminder
(won't use it anyway, but thanx) ;-))
