I am looking for a simple audio program that will repeat a single track
from a list of tracks (right mouse click would be nice). Winamp will only
repeat a playlist. I don't want to edit a playlist all the time.

I need to learn some music by ear so I need to repeat a track a few times
then select another track to repeat etc.

Also it would be nice if the program could slow down the track but keep
the pitch.

thanks
John

Maybe not the most 'simple' program, but the 'change tempo' effect in
Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ might be helpful.

You will have to rip the track [if from an audio cd] or convert it to
..wav to manipulate the track with audacity. My favorite ripper du jour
is audiograbber. http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/

Does audiograbber allow you to repeat a CD track easily?

I'll just second the recommendation for Audacity to learn music by ear,
especially if you are really transcribing it. You can loop segments of the
music, and you have a visual representation on the screen to help you pick
your segment.

For just looping one whole track, frankly, I'd use winamp. Remove all
tracks, drag and drop a track, delete it, drag-and-drop the next.
