There are fanless cards in the 46XX series.

I had a look, there are none. not in the series 4 or 5

Radeon 4850/5850 fanless? That's possible only if you change the stock
heatsink+fan yourself...

There are fan-less, passive cooling heatsink from CoolerMaster and
ThermalTake.

Are you sure? Where?

Newegg has 19 fanless cards in the 4000 series including 3 in the 4600
series, 2 of them are 4650, and the third is a 4670.

Radeon 4850/5850 fanless? That's possible only if you change the stock
heatsink+fan yourself...

There are fan-less, passive cooling heatsink from CoolerMaster and
ThermalTake.

Put one of those on a 5870 and it will be the only thing you can fit in
your case.
