After deploying the Messenger update (mmssetup.exe) to
computers remotely, it is impossible to sign in using
standard credentials.

We are using Windows XP Pro and now Windows Messenger is
asking for Smart card and PIN to log onto ".NET Messenger
service". If I install it manually on each computer
everything will work fine..but I have to deploy it to
100+ computers, sigh.

Could it be a problem with the registry or dll
registration even if it seems to be running allright with
the -q option?
