Signatures react differently during replies

For some reason, sometimes ( when replying ) my signature gets automatically
inserted. Other times, it does not!

Why is this happening?

What have you tried for troubleshooting?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Greg asked:

Could be because some emails are sent in & replied to in Plain Text, so html
signatures are skipped.
