Signatures on Templates

How do I exclude my signature from popping up on an email template that
already has my signature.

By an email template, do you mean a custom Outlook form? What version and
build number of Outlook?

I am using Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6360) SP1. What I did was create an email
template by opening an email typing in a generic & often used response along
with my signature at the bottom. I saved it as an .oft file. It worked
before in the past but one of the last upgrades messed things up and now
because I have signatures set to come on my new emails along with
replies/forwards it adds a second signature at the top of my email and moves
my text down.
