Signatures in incoming messages

Hello all
I wrote a VBA program that scans incoming messages and especially the
Message Body for keywords.
Since I receive digitally signed messages I can't access the message body
any longer, the VBA program returns an error.
Can someone tell me how to access the body or how to delete the signature?
