For some reason I cannot get a signature drop down box on my email toobar. I
have looked and looked and cannot find the item to add to each messsages
toolbar to allow me to pick a signature to place in a specific email.
I can add "Email Signature" which just pops up the form where you create
them etc... but thats not very helpful.

Isn't there a way to add a drop down box of some sort that shows the
signatures you have so you can insert a specifc one if needed into any email
you create?

(I do know you can assign a sig to be placed on a specific account but on
occasion I need to add another one. )

Thanks so much!
Nancy

Nancy,

If your default signature appears, right-click and then select the signature
that you want.

Thanks Charles... that helps immensely! Had no idea you could do that.

My only last issue is when I have an email with no sig attached and I want
to add one. I can't get a button on the menu to let me do that. Seems I have
NO way to add a signature to a blank email on the fly.

You'll only get that button with html without Word as the editor. With Word
as the editor you need to have an automatically inserted signature to be
able to choose one. An option for no sig is to delete what it inserted.
You could also use Word's Autotext instead and choose what to add. Luckily,
Outlook 2007 improves on this.

Thanks Bill... guess I was searching for something that wasnt there. I just
could have SWORE at one time I had a drop down box I could put on the menu of
the email where I could just choose one of my sigs to drop in. Guess I was
mistaken.

I'll do the word thing.
Appreciate all your help!

sig box beforeSo.. THAT was it! I knew I had seen that before! There are so
many settings on this thing... thanks so much for clearing that up. I
deselected word. I really missed my signature drop down.

Have a great day!
