Hi,

Just upgraded to Defender from Anti Spyware.

In settings, alert actions, default actions listed is "signature default".

What does that mean? Does it mean that an action is tied to each item
searched for as the recommended action?

Thanks,

Bill

The default action for a given item is tied to the perceived risk, I think.
I've not seen a table of how this works. I'd bet that the default for
Kazaa, however, is probably quarantine.

So--if something is a "high" risk, I'd expect the default to be remove. For
lesser risks, quarantine might be the default.

Signature Default = Defender will ask you what you want to do about anything
it finds.

Remove = Automatically remove what was found

Ignore = self-explanatory.
