% Sign

I have a table in Excel that I am exporting into Access. The table contains
account balance information and the account's current interest rate. Once in
Access, I am printing a confirmation for the customer that displays this
data, including the interest rate. I am having problems getting the interest
rate to show up as a %. For example, I can get 5.00 to show up, but not
5.00%. I have tried working with the field format in both the excel file and
the access file, but can't quite get it to work. Any assistance would be
helpful. I also tried to change the numberin Excel to text and concatenate
the string in the access report with the "%" sign, but that didn't work
either.

You can format the textbox of the form or report to display % sign. You also
can format the query display for % sign but the format will not carry through
to the form or report.
Remember that the number 0.05 is 5% and number 5.00 is 500% when setting
your displays.
