Hello,

Is it my imagination or does the vista sidebar use up an awful lot of system
speed? Should I turn it off permanently ?

Some of its icons (eg the cpu speed / ram dials) are useful, I can drag them
to the main window, but would that just make things worse again ?

Hi,

I've experienced nothing like that with the sidebar, it may be that one
particular gadget is causing the issue. You may want to selectively remove
them until the unwanted behavior stops.
