after installing an Adobe Acrobat Update and Norton AntiVirus 2007 on Windows
XP, a sidebar menu (which i've never seen before) appeared after a reboot.
The menu is locked...i can't relocate or close the menu. it is pushing all my
icons off to the right and is making the lower task bar act funny. when i try
to open Windows Explorer, the bottom task bar expands to fill 1/3 of the
desktop and Windows Explorer does not open.

i've posted a screen shot of my desktop here:

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
jason
