side panel in msword normal view

in word normal view I get a side panel on the left showing images of the
pages. how do i get rid of it?

Hi Sunimal,

You can set the width of the 'Style area' to zero in
Tools=>Options=>View or while in Normal view use your
mouse to grab and drag the style area divider line and
drag it off the edge of your screen.
