Shuttle XPC SN45 G Problems

Hi,

Just built a PC with the following components:

AMD Athlon XP2800 (Barton)
Shuttle SN45G mobo
80 Gb Maxtor HD

when I turn it on it runs through its memory test fine then hangs, if I
press DEL to enter bios it also hangs.

Any ideas
